    42" MRP Fountain Hull FS/T

    SOLD!

For sale or trade - decided to sell instead of build her up.

Normal wear and tear and holes from original hardware and cooling. Only damage is a bondo filled ding on the rear corner with a 1 inch crack on the top of the deck from that ding. All in all very fixable and is high above the waterline - I ran her this way for 5 or 6 years. See photos

All hardware gone - I stripped it in preparation of building it up with a surface drive and hardware from an SV but have decided to build a DF25 or clone instead.

Open to trades - would even consider trading this hull and my cash for your Delta Force, HOTR, Boogieman, etc. 25 to 33 monos.

I have a DF26 - original - that I have set up and rockin! super stable even at 50+ mph. are you looking for an rtr or artr? I can add a motor/esc but the only radio I could include would be am or for a little more, fm. I have pics up in my album - the red one in the last three pics. I will put up more once you tell me what kind of set up you are looking for. I would be sad to see the DF26 go, but I am starting to slow my boats down and looking for more scale.

Could you post up some pics of the bottom? who made this hull? are there any labels on the inside? I would like a better view of the inside also.

    thanks
    J

Here are a couple photos of the inside and bottom for you Jesse. I can send you larger more detailed pics in your email if you send me your info and have a specific request for different areas.

I am pretty certain it is an MRP - I don't see any stickers on it but I haven't taken the decklid off either. The battery/radio tray might have something under it but I have not taken it out yet either.

I am open to your DF - I have hardware from an SV 27 so if yours didn't have a motor/esc, or radio it would be fine with me. The rudder/stinger/trim tabs we can talk about because I'd rather not patch up a transom and install my SV gear unless yours was fitted that way and I could just swap mine in.

I would give my left nut for a mint white hull as in the catalogue.. I love Fountain anything.

Left nuts not negotiable nor accepted as legal tender for this trade!

My original plan was to shave the subsurface drive off, attach SV27 surface drive, rudder, turn fins and trimtabs, fill the corner with microballoons and epoxy, strip off the decals, prep the surface and paint her WHITE!

            You can paint her too....

Jesse wants this thing. I could imagine this would be more fun with a scale drive going 25 than another boat just going 50

Oh, I will have it. I can always make up another DF26 and probably will, just can't pass up good opportunities, even if I have two sleep 2 nights in the shop, which is almost more comfortable than the couch.

"how about a scale drive going 50?"
Don't put it past me... I am actually seeing this thing on like 4S4P crashing through 1' chop (probably mid 30s) and making me grin real big.

I sent you a link in your email for an online album to the Fountain. You can full screen the pics and get a better idea of what she looks like. Let me know if you want pictures of anything else or close ups, etc and I will upload them to that album

Send me some pics of the DF, I am sure we can work something out.

Jesse - check your email, we'll work out the final details tomorrow - I need sleep tonight. Have to get up early and I am on the east coast. I'll bring it to work with me tomorrow and box it up real nice.

Looks awesome, but I was hoping you could use pistachio nuts instead?

I will await your decision on what components you want with your new red baby.
