And I hope I made up with RCKong... I found him a hull. Again, right place, right time.. except no one knows but me.. and now him....

This thread just shows us one thing : IF YOU HAVE A 32" CAT WITH TWIN DRIVE HARDWARE ALREADY INSTALLED, POST IT!!!! EVERYBODY WANTS ONE, ME INCLUDED!!!! No electronics, just the mounts and hardware....

Got the Hull today! It arrived safely Thanks Great one. Pleasure to do buisness with you. Very honest and quick to ship.

As for the HOTR/ HM dispute. Id bet the boat its a HOTR. Heres why. I do not own a H&M, but, boats I do own that have "stamps" in the boat, are usually done in a way such that it is under the glass and you cannot feel it. This almost looks as if someone printed out their logo on a piece of paper, soaked it in resin, then stuck it in the boat. Also Ive been told if it is authentic, it would have the logo on the deck of the hull to the left rear of the hatch. It does not. I also took a mirror and investigated under the deck and found no other labels.

Also the sponsons are kicked in and Ive been told authentic H&M hulls will not do that.

Still, a great deal, nothing was misrepresented and to the great1, I thank you.

Also, and I have to look again, but I think the scoop on top of the H&M is just a little different. I will have to investigate that some more.

EDIT Just noticed, It also has about a 1/8" twist in it. (left rear sits up)

hey man i never advertized it as an h&m. i am glad you like the boat and am sure i will get more use now that it i out of my habd lol. that thing sat in my garrage for over a year with me thinking "oh i'll get to it next month"

No NO, I didnt mean in any way that you did. You clearly stated HOTR, just as the title represents. You did not mis-represent it in any way. I think everyone on the forum (including me esp) was just hoping it really was a H&M.

One thing I am dissapointed in.. I do not like how the rudder was mounted at all.. I wanted to change it but.. wow.. thats going to be a cluster bleep

yea man when i bought it the runnder and hardware were already installed. i too tried to remove and replace it but to no avail

Yeah you mentioned that... oh well. Just a bit more work to do... or say the heck with it and leave it. In the pic in your first post, was the left motor mount attached or just sitting in there? It arrived floating in the boat. No worries at all though. I do like those mounts, but Im planning on installing carbon mounts after I lay up the inside w/ CF.

Dude, that motor is SICK.. I think Im going to re-do it and go with a single drive and use it on a 7.2 Nimh. I should see 70-75mph easy!

Do you need the motor? I wont use it in anything... well I wont say that, I can always find something, but if you need it I will send it back to you. I meant to tell you before you shipped it to keep it if you wanted it.

As for the mount, not a problem at all. As I said, I planned on pulling them anyway to inlay the hull. Made that job a little easier.

actually i could use it. after i sent you the hull i went to the lhs and bought a rio ep lol. i have a weird thing for abs boats. with that motor i might get a few more mph out of it. lol that was funny btw 75 haha
