i need to buy some hardware

hey guys i need to buy two things and i figured i might be able to get them here for a little less as im on a budget.

    1. a rudder for a 17in cat

    2. a strut for a 3/16th prop shaft

and i also need a servo with a good amount of torque on the cheap side

    thanks guys!

Do you need a water pickup on the rudder? I may have one without.

I'll put my hands on it, if I have it, this weekend and take some pictures for you. I may have a strut, but I'm not sure of the condition. In any case, I don't think I have a bracket for the strut, but you could make one fairly easily.

I'll look this weekend and see what I can do to help you out.

                OK, here's two different ones.

                100_2870.jpg 100_2869.jpg

Let's say $7 shipped for one or $11 for both shipped without insurance. Just let me know and I can get them out on Monday.

                Strut picture to follow...

If those rudders will not work for you, I have a plastic rudder that might work. You will need to make a shaft for it. Also I have a couple different size struts, big one is .25 I.D. and the little one is .187 I.D. you will have to put your own bushings in them.. The rudder arm can also be used for the strut mount.

meniscus, how much would it be for both the strut and the rudder shipped? do you have a arm for the rudder?

mpg, sorry but i dont really want a plastic rudder.

                      thanks again,

No problem, just letting you know what I have. The rudder came from fullers. I had a few of them and thought if you could use it you could have it for free.

$12.50 shipped for a rudder and the strut. I don't have an extra bracket, but one can be easily made from a couple pieces of angle aluminum for a few bucks at Lowes, Home Depot, etc.

You'll have to let me know which rudder you want. Note one has a taller post than the other.
