    Nemesis "XLT4" motor for sale

Ok guys this one is a mystery. This is a Fine Design XLT4 motor that I was using in a truck conversion. I have no idea what kv it is but Chris Fine said it would work well in a 30"or so mono on 4s power, for whatever that is worth. All I know is it has less than 10 runs on it. 30 dollars +5.00 dollars to ship it. (Domestic only)

Dimensions are 36mm diameter and 75 mm length. It appears to be Nemesis "XL" size motor. The thing is I don't know the wind on it.

I have a motor that came from FDM and the size is scribed in one end of the motor. I had to use a magnifying glass to see it, but it's there.

You are right the "size" is scribed on the end of the motor. It says it is an "XLT4". The problem is that I have no idea what that means! If you look at the FDM motor chart there is no XLT4. We had a thread on this motor about a year ago and nobody could figure it out. Anyway it's a Nemesis XL can and it's cheap so if someone wants to give it a try let me know!

If you spin the rotor at a known RPM you can measure the voltage on one of the legs and determine the kv that way. One way is to put the output shaft in the chuck of a drill press at a preset RPM. Then measure the volts out. Should be able to narrow it down.

Now that is something I have never even heard of, and I'm not sure I understand it but it sounds interesting. If nobody buys this motor I might give that a try!

T4 should stand for a 4 turn motor.

4 turn XL would be about 3600 KV

I ran it on a 5000 mah 4s Neu battery. When I asked Chris Fine about it he said it would be fine for 4s but no-go on 6s so it is probable a higher kv motor like truckpull said but I don't know.
