MHZ micro fountian RTR NEU motor

    SOLD to Jessie J

this is a slightley used MHZ micro fountian. it has a NEU 1105 3y 3300kv brushless, hitec servo, seaking 35a watercooled esc, adjustable strut, stock rudder. it is complete less reciever, and RTR. i lost interest in micro FE's right after building this one so it has only been run a few times and been sitting on the shelf for about 6 months. i pulled it out about a week ago and drove it and everything is good. i run it on a 2200mah 2 cell and it is fun, on a 3 cell it is crazy fast for a little boat but if you have throtle control a blast to drive. i have over $400 into building it (hull alone is $225, motor $99, ESC $50, servo $25, ect...) and the only thing wrong with it is some CA residue on the trandsome from when i tried trim tabs (better off without them). i also have a gecko which is the same boat so THIS ONE MUST GO!

$225 shipped USPS priority to US mainland.

first to say they want it and send paypal to [email protected] gets it

THIS BABY IS CUTE!!! Wow, even nicer than the pics!! Thanks again Chuck!

So, what batts did you use? Cell count and mah. Looks like there is more room on the port side, is the the anti torque roll side? or just 'cause the extra caps take up more room on the starboard? How did you run it?

thanks for the killer deal - I LOVE IT

thanks for liking it!!! i ran 1600 to 1800 mah turnigy 2 or 3 cells. it cant go wide open on 3 cells. the reason i set it up like that is they said it could be made "self righting" if the weight was distributed correctly. that is what the holes in the hatch vents are all about. it worked once and never again. the theory if that the hatch floods out between the sub hatch and outer hatch and acts like a flood chamber but i couldnt get it to work. maybee with battery and reciver on the port side it will but i always ran it battery/port rec/esc starbord. my recomendation is to use 1600mah 3s and just be mellow. i also never tried the included rudder blade but it came with the kit. my gecko (which is the same hull without the swim step) is self righting. it likes to run better on a larger rudder, i use the minicat set-up. the other recomended usage that i got a kick out of was at the end of the day, take the reciever pack out of your 4s FE's and nitro's and use them... it was like desert after the main mean of nitro's...... also keep in mind that that thing is super efficient and will go forever on one pack. watch the motor temps and have fun.... also try some prop tweeking, im pretty sure the 27mm if the right size but pitch it out and see what happens.....
                          glad you are happy!!

yeah, remember that is a 3900kv (or around there) so depending on the nephews you might have to go 1s, its still plenty fast 2s..... happy boating!!
hey jessie - have you built any FE tunnels? i am looking for pictures of what people are doing with the radio boxes and info on COG... i'm am hooked on nitro tunnels right now and have everything to build an FE, got all the parts to construct the radio box today, i was going to start it and decided to try and hunt down some info first (so i went and played with a nitro tunnel instead). if ever in hawaii look me up, we have a pretty good group running nitro/gas and a few of us even play FE..
