How does the amp meter work? what do the aligator clips hook to?

you plug the battery in to the deans, then connect the alligators to the positive, and negative, on any dc motor (brushed) and it will tell you how many amps the motor draws, turn the switch to volts, and it tells you the voltage. it used to have deans on both sides, but i started hardwiring the escs in place, so the clips were the only way to go. i usually hook it up, go full throttle, and try and stall out the motor with a rag in my hand (wet) on my prop shaft, and see how many amps i could draw maximum. gotta be carefull however!! it may be sold to the gentleman that is taking the tranny. i'll let you know!Comment
