, even the old post still there since 2007, sometime that site lagging for a few days due to cyber attack but they still manage to hold it off, I think they used to this attack already and its a great site too and one that will not fall down easily for any cyber attack

Both the slash and the sc10 has weak points. The both hold up fine. My suggestion is buy whatever you LHS stocks parts for.Last edited by BakedMopar; 11-20-2009, 05:48 AM.If all of your wishes are granted, many of your dreams will be destroyed!Comment

I also own both the Slash and the SC10. The SC10 is definitely a better racers and handles track condition much better than the Slash. The Slash would require much modification to begin to become a real racer, where as the SC10 is a racer out the box! I've haven't really taken it out and beat on it but it has survived the indoor track me and Alvin race on. The SC10 does seem to have a problem with the shocks leaking. Me and Alvin have experiences this.
Now the Slash is a fun all over. Its a great basher and is very durable. We race in a SPEC class and it is the most fun in R/C I have ever had! There's no comparing these Short Course trucks on the track. The Slashes go out there and just run and take a beating. Quite often pile-ups happen and they take some nasty spills but they survive and have fun.
I have noticed that these are not real efficient in taller grass. They are fun in the dirt, street, track, and short grass.
I would have to try the larger tires on them or go 4wd for mostly grass running.

uh... you mean in trade for my buggy? A very definite maybe... I have a weakness for hydros and with the new cowl out, these are quickly grabbing my attention... Whatcha got? I will look at the other threads to see if yours is in there. I have no spare money so need to sell boats/buggy or trade in my transactions at this point."Look good doin' it"

This kinda turned into a car thread... but my buggy is still for sale and is perfect for someone who has lots of relatively smooth landscape to run. It handles like a hovercraft, but is not made for the street - I think it is allergic to it. The beach would be perfect or a nice 1/10th scale track!
I'm open to offers.
