diego I bought the martimo as you see it and they are not modded they are stock
the ones for sale are on the top picture with brass bushings included...i dnt need them anymore because the martimo I bought in the bottom two pictures came with the stingers that you see on it
I will take the ones off the Martimo and mill them flat because they lean to the starboard side I couple degrees
for $50 its a nice alternative to having to pay $200 to $300 or more for new drives
They are too small for 5/16 x 3/16 id" bearings but they can use 4mm bearings ok. Then shim up for 3/16" props. Problem is a 130 flex is about all you can fit in the stub....or the 78 wire is easy.
Yes, you must file them flat as they do have angle in the for torque. There are plenty of good stinger out there but they are metic....not a big issue to convert
I think you are looking at them...SV stingers are cheapest.
The others just need the bushing taken out and a new non-metric bushing put in...and may have to be drilled slightly but that can be done at home with a drill.
Why not use just struts on it? No problem with that. Stingers are not the hot set up...just scale looking. Struts can be adjusted up and down and angled....stingers can't.
