That's a great deal - I wish I had a boat that could use them.

graill these look to be something you could use.

55mm counter rotating props?? Gotta be for a 60"+ hull. I bought some 50mm for my 34" hull and they down even come close to fitting.

I contacted graill and he said they were a bit small for his 96" cat. So a 60" - 72" would be my guess. As to the motors - HUGE!

They sure look sexy, but like women : hard to handle.
You have to be gently with the throttle if you wanna slow down.............

my first guess would be the rotational inertia would damage something. but I am probably wrong. lol

Because there are a lot of blades, there are a lot of blades in the water.
At least 2 blades and very likely even 3 !
                            More blades is more "brake".
Imagine what happens if you slow down with the throttle and the motors stop.
What if 1 side has 3 blades in the water and the other side has 2 blades in the water.......
The back of the boat can behave more nervous with 4 or 5 blade props.

They were purchased originally for a drifter xl with twin pletti 370/50/a1s's on 10s.
The calculations on the three bladers looked real, real nice, lol !
