See photos below. Offering this hull for sale. I decided I wanted to build a different 24" hull I already had. This hull is very nice and shiny. It is just for the hull, nothing else, only what is in the photos but not including the background...
Also known as a "RC prince" hull and also sold by Head of River. HOR bare hull without the internal wood mounts is $50 + 24 SH from HOR on eflay.
Now for this hull. This hull has the carbon fiber windshield decal and also the elusive skunkworks logo on top. Looks really good! The hatch does not fit perfect, but it tapes down fine. I showed how much it is off in one of the photos. The transom is drilled for the standard hardware, stinger and rudder (no tabs or turn fins) The wood in the hull is really impressive. All laser cut and fits together great. servo and receiver mount, the motor mount is there as well as a center Lipo mount.
The number one complaint that I found on these hulls is the wood is only glued in and will break free. I agree on this one, so I glassed it in with a resin/milled fiber mixture. Secure now.
I also put some spray foam inside the bow section. Not too much, as I didn't want it to expand and warp the hull. You can see how much in one of the photos.
The only flaw on this boat is two spider web cracks in the gelcoat. The hatch has one towards the back. The hull has one shown in the photos. It is on the starboard side about 6" from the transom and a half inch from the keel. It is difficult to see, but you can feel it if you run your finger over it. I hear this is common on these boats and it seems reasonable with how thin the gelcoat must be.
I am asking $45 shipped for this hull in the lower 48. Let me know, paypal is fine.
