Having trouble getting the 3 small screws out of my Spektrum motor so I can oil the bearings. Obviously don't want to strip them. I'll try the heat gun.....

Try a soldering iron also. Those screws are a pain

Actually that's not a bad idea. More focused heating.

THAT is a great idea. Didn't think of using my soldering iron. Thank you!

Also make sure you use a quality Allen wrench/screwdriver. You would not believe the amount of times I rushed and just grabbed whatever I had laying there and ruined the screws because it wasn't a quality tool

Well... the screws are stripped out. I had my soldering iron on each screw for 10+ minutes and used several quality tools. They would not break free. I'm gonna dremel out the head maybe with a slot or tap a bit into the head after hitting it with a torch!

I have a spare motor so I'll install that and align it perfectly. But I WILL get the other motor apart and lube it; it will NOT beat me. I recently retired so I have time!! LOL

Absolutely. We are the house that hosts all our family holidays, birthdays, anniversaries, halloween, even the dog birthdays, etc...
