7.2 Volt would be a 6 cell pack.
Also the pic looks like a 6 cell pack, comparing the length to the width.

truck pull its L 7.25 IN H 1 IN W 2.75 its too big for a 6 cell and im only writing what the packaging says and it says 7.2 volt

L-7.25 IN. H-1 IN. W-2.75 IN.
It is three rows side by side, 4 cell long each.

There looks to be somthing under the shrink in the center. (parallel conector)??
It could be two 6 cell packs wired in Parallel for a total of 7.2 Volts

A voltmeter is a voltmeter...it doesn't care what kind of battery it is.

it came with a admiral rc cattamaran

The admiral catamaran is a offshore knockoff, available from amazon and fleabay for $100. Its a 40" cat probally made by nqd. The battery is a 7.2 volt battery.
I guess if its still available, I'll take it. I have a turnigy accucell 6 charger that cycles nicad's.
