2017 Race Season- P-LTD Motors Rule Ammendment

For those not attending today's PSFEMBC Winter meeting today, the club has decided, by a solid show of hands, to adopt a modified version of the existing P-LTD Rules.

For 2017, we will be moving from a restricted list of motors to a physical motor size restriction instead.

It's very basic. Any motor not exceeding 36.3mm in diameter and 61.2mm in length is now legal.

This still encompasses all of the existing P-LTD motors, so if you have those, race away. As you need/want new motors, however, shop away. If it physically doesn't exceed the maximum dimensions, it's allowed.

We'll be compiling a list of motors out there that fit to help people be aware of the possibilities, so hopefully that'll help people moving forward.

Will you post that list here?
Will you do some bench testing on the new motor possibilities ?

Will they keep the existing Kv limit at 2050? Or going up?

        Seems pretty clear:

"Any motor not exceeding 36.3mm in diameter and 61.2mm in length is now legal."

Not on the motors that will fit the new rule.
