Glad Steve setup this club forum and that I saw it. Would like more info on times. Are you allowed to run there other days besides Sunday too?

Would be interested in joining. What are the requirements like for insurance, etc.?

It's a private lake that allows us to run Sundays only 11am - 2 or 3pm and all boats must be electric. There are no dues or insurance requirements we just each kick in a dollar at the bi-monthly meetings.

The two men mentioned in this flyer Doug Barnes passed away 2 years ago and Rich Warder’s phone number has been disconnected. An individual at the private lake (using his FE) was a member of the Cape Henry Model Boat Club and he said he didn’t think the club was still in existence.

I was looking for a boat club in Virginia Beach. Apparently it doesn’t exist anymore. Where do you boat in the tidewater virginia area?
