    What Bill said, even at a NAMBA event there is no problem if you do not charge over 4.2V.

      You have to have a charger that is able to adjust the MAX voltage.

      Most chargers when set to 4S will max out a 16.8 Volts

      At the NAMBA race in MI. last year, they were periodically checking max voltage per cell when people were getting ready to tape up.

          Brian

          I got mine here from OSE;
          http://www.offshoreelectrics.com/pro...oc-ceramic-hyb

          I took one apart first and measured it to make sure I ordered the right ones.

          I believe that they were 5 X 11 X 5

            I was wondering because at Car races before you race you have to go through tech and if each cell is above 4.2 you are a DQ.

              In the new righting of the NAMBA rules;
              MAX for any individual cell is 4.230 volts

              If any cell in your pack measures 4.231 you are DQ.

                    Well... I won't be flying planes this Sunday for sure. I'll wait and see who's coming before I decide on a trip to Encore.

                          NAMBA rules-

                          That Hull would have to run Offshore seeing that the hull is stepped.
                          With 10s 2p onboard it would run is "T" class

                          A lot of race clubs run "S" & "T" together or call it open Offshore.

                          Offshore is a 4 min. race with a full lap mill so plan on running at least 4 1/2 min.

                          "S" & "T" class boats are allowed 12,000 m Amps on board.

                          NO boat will be more than 35lb. ready to run, or over 60" in hull length.

                            If it doesn't rain we are going to run down here this weekend. We have cover from the wind.
