Thanks Chris. What he said. County could take a week or 2 months. We have no idea nor do they but we do have someone on our side and she is trying to expedite things as much as possible. Hopefully by the end of May.Comment

Had it at the pond Sunday. Pulled off all of the hardware and started sealing the inside Sunday afternoon. Mixed up too large a batch of epoxy and it lit off before I could get it all applied. Had to throw the cup in the sink and throw water on it. Smoking and melted the mixing cup. Here's where I am now:

Was wondering Does the turn fin on a vintage need to be reinforced?Last edited by ron1950; 04-14-2015, 09:11 PM.MY RETIREMENT PLAN?????.....POWERBALL

Not sure how much reinforcing it needs as it has much less area than a standard turn fin but in order to mount it I added another 1/8 ply doubler on the 1/8 keel. I've drilled it to accept 2 8-32 blind nuts for attaching the fin.Comment
