I have about 10 videos from today in cue for YouTube but while they're uploading thought I'd share this race footage.
It's from our company Christmas party on Dec 18th. A partial slide show with some GoPro behind the wheel footage of the 1st leg of the team relay race.
Watching the video gives me a better understanding of why I had sore, stiff arm and shoulder muscles the next day. (being 62 and spending most of my work time riding a deck probably contributed to it as well)

I'm baaack. This time it's with boat videos though.
A little foggy this morning but it burned off by 9:30 or so. The water was a lot flatter than I expected too. It was calling for around 8 out of the south but was almost dead calm until about 11:30 or so. Felt like a summer day and got up to about 80F which is pretty warm for Dec. (even here in FL).
1st up today: An early morning run with Hugh & Ron's 10th scale "modern" sport hydro's. Still a bit foggy at this time.

Chris testing a smaller turn fin on his ML400 sport hydro. Didn't want to turn quite like it should.

A five boat start in LSO with only two finishing. (and the water wasn't really rough).
Larry's win although Hugh was ahead of him at the finish.

Another short run with the ML400 after putting the original turn fin back on.

The maiden splash of Ron's Sprintcat. Seemed to run pretty good but it was a short run to check for temps and leaks.

A good P mono heat even if it was a one boat finish. Good thing for Richard since he jumped the start big time. Caught another good submarine into a Polaris missile launch when Larry's did a power dive in the corner of the back straight. Well, at least I caught the missile launch part.

Brian and Richard with their P Cheetah twins. Rich has his Pepsi cat running really well.

Ron's Sprintcat back in the water to finish pulling down the packs. A bad solder joint on one leg to the motor stopped this one at about the right time since he let off to bring it in anyways.
I'd almost bet the deceleration inertia on the ESC caused the wire to pull free

Finishing out the day. I don't know who to call winner of this race. Brian was actually a lap ahead of Larry (from Larry's buoy clip) until he did the same thing on the last lap.
Hmmm maybe we should institute a $5.00 replacement fee for these things. Then the club would have been the winner.

Been almost a month since the last time I was at the lake to shoot some video. This morning didn't look too promising when we 1st got there but the wind did lay down as predicted.
1st Video today, Richard, Brian, Rich, Larry and I'm not sure of who was driving the 5th boat in a round of P mono.
