Cool, nice to know.. U think you can do 4 minutes of P-offshore with that? Seems like a good kv for it.

We don't really have a P offshore class in our club, but it is capable of running the 4 minutes. It's been a while back but threw it in with the LSO guys one day just to see.Comment

5/25/14
Our normal 2nd Sunday test n tune run was cancelled since it fell on Mother's Day. We did have a little turnout today though even though it's Memorial Day weekend.
The water was very flat at Ackerman for a change but the air was so thick a person could hardly breathe. Summer is here.
1st video today is Ron's 10th scale Executone Hydro.

Another short round with my Avenger twin. HET 700-68-1500 motors. Still not getting enough water flow. I'm going to have to break down and add some thru hull pickups. At least I didn't toast a motor this time.
Thanks Dave, for running the camera.

Ron's Whiplash LSH that he bought from Mike H.
Since Ron lives in Mississippi we don't see him down here very often.

Ron's Jersey Skiff. This one actually completed the run and made it back to shore under it's own power.

Last one today. Ron's 10th scale shovelnose hydro. The wire drive for it is somewhere on the bottom of the lake.

Today sure does feel like summer here in Florida. We were fortunate and had a mild NNW breeze going on early in the morning but by the time we were packing up to leave it was dead calm and steamy.
1st up today: More testing with the Avenger twin. Running a CR set of Octura X447's with a couple more degrees of positive angle in the stingers. Maybe a little too much positive....
Thanks Dave, for running the camera.

Next up Rick's (rdracrer) nicely painted DF 33 on it's maiden voyage. Looks way too nice for bashing in a P mono race.
