Or you can just put a small pice of silicone tubing between the nut and the prop. Use a lock nut though. I know o 3 people who run w/ out lock nuts or bullets at all, they only use silicone tubing to hold the prop on and have never lost a prop.

But like Bill, Im kinda confused what your asking because your saying two different things. After prop is on, can you see threads or not?

Ahh, I dont remember, probably. No, that was Hugh (Hebner) running his MM w/ my Geico. Bill sold his a while back because he was afraid of Hugh and I. I wish we had more LSO entries.

This is what happens to a UL-1 motor, M445 combination in 4 minute LSO offshore race!

I never had temp issues w/ mine on the 445. However, Ive stripped mine in preparation to build a twin. Esc was typically in the high teens to low 120s and motor was mid 120s. I had wire issues when I tried a M645. I bought Hughs and thats what I ran Sunday. Its got the 1800KV Proboat motor in it and ran a modded 642. I wasnt happy w/ the temps after a 4 min heat though. The 1500 on an M445 runs identicle speed and 20 - 25 degrees colder so Im switching motors out.

Yeah I agree, not a good idea at all.

Two totally different boats. Heck, cant even compare brand "x" cat to brand "y" cat, because even they may require different set ups. Im pushing 150F on the motor and mid 140s on the 120A esc w/ a detongued 642. Not liking that at all, especially when its no faster than the 1500 on a 445, in fact, I think it may be a tad slower.
