Ray, you gonna run the 1/8 scale at the FE Nats? Terry Cowger and Ken are trying to get a head count on scales. I told him we had three (If Bill runs his). Yours would make four.

They do have a nice sound on the water. Not to mention being easier to see as our vision gets worse.

A lot of whether I go or not will depend on being able to get some time off work. Bad thing is they are being held right in peak season for the full sized boat industry. If I go I will bring it barring any major malfunctions or setbacks between now & then.

Bill you may get lucky by having your classes run on the weekend. Thats the nice thing about the FE races, they do different classes each day, rather than all the classes all 4 days.

Unfortunately, I will not make the Nats. I cannot attend on the dates they picked. I am really bummed.

First on the block. There will be more. Price will be reduced if I don't have to ship it.

I'm auctioning this Pickle to those who visit this thread. Comes with: rudder, strut, turn fin, servo, shaft and prop ( I've done the leg work on the prop so the winning bidder won't have to ), also have the cabover original cowl. Has a couple of minor race scars, probably from Hugh, and the turn fin is loose. It screws into a backplate so may need bigger screws ?. Vac-U-Boat has a motor mount for $ 14.00.

It always ran great, but kinda eclipsed by the Whip.

Not interested in packing and shipping but I will deliver to Ackerman for absolutely 100% FREE OF CHARGE!

Act NOW before it's too LATE

Additional info can be found @ Vac-U-Boat.com ( or something like that )

NO OBLIGATION, MONEY BACK GUARANTEE. If you don't like it when you see it, you ain't gotta buy it.

Be the first on your block to own a genuine 100% semi-used, piece of American history - Pickle !!!

I'll keep the bidding open until I decide to end it.

But that not all!!...............well actually it is.

Looks so nice in the photos it's really hard not to volunteer to be the starter. I've already got 8 though and don't know where the heck I'd put it. I'm really liking the bigger boats too. Looks like a good snag for somebody though.

Hey I'm getting ready to decomisssion "Elvis" and move on to something else. You still want a T boat hull? It could be a real challenge for you. I've run totally out of ideas. (thinking the hull and the harware is a major mismatch of equipment but can't do much about it due to the way it was originally rigged. There's LOTS of epoxy over the nuts in the lower transom, etc)

Not sure I want to go there
. The WHH new mono is getting some traction with the s/t racers. May try that. I've had a couple of their gas boats and although not necessarily racey previously, their new mono looks like a good candidate for a FE competitive mono.

Just checked and the weather is not looking bad for Sunday. Looking like ENE around 6-8 by around 10:00 am and switching to ESE at around 10 mph at 1:00 PM.

                              Who's coming and whatcha bringing?
Right now it looks like P mono, LSH, Q, couple of the "bigguns" and maybe spec rigger for me.

As of right now, I will have my tunnel, and if I can get a servo, I will have my rigger.
