LOL, I've been made! It's true!

Someday I'd like to try to solar cells though, like I've mentioned before. It probably won't be very fast, but it will be fun nonetheless. Problem is, I haven't seen any high quality/efficient solar cells that are in a small format, small enough to fit on a boat.

          Oh well!

BTW Diego, I'll have that set of bullet connectors with me for you. Just give me a call if you get out this way today with your job.

I'll see if I can't get off work and go to DRCW for more. I'm still trying to find a place that will sell them to me in bulk for your projects.

                Diego, that sounds great!

Egneg, I need you help. What prop do you think should I start with on the No Step 1? I know that I don't have very many options with the current propshaft and I'm clueless when it comes to props, among a lot of other things. What do you think I should try?

Also, are you sure you don't need this 220 right now? I don't understand why you didn't take it back at the pond. As stated before, I'm not going to have the chance to use it until the BJ gets back from paint, which will be a while. In any case, I think I'll try another prop once I get the BJ back, I don't feel right about holding your prop when you could be using it or at least testing with it. After all, it's yours! If you decide you do to try on your shovel or the Xzess, let me know and I'll come meet you.

As it is a fairly small hull I would stick with the current prop and get some temp readings - prop up if the temps are ok - maybe a detongued X640.

I am fine as far as props go for now. I have all of my hulls covered.

Alright, just let me know when you want that prop back.

Wow, that was quick! You're going to have to let me buy you lunch or something. Speaking of lunch, I need to try to talk to that lady again about the prop design, that is if you are still interested. If not, then no stress. Just give me a call and I'll give you the scoop on that lady.

                        Thanks again Egneg!

                          Did anyone run this weekend?

Also, have you seen this new guy over on RRR I've been talking to? He's in Glouster and runs with ODBC, but it seems he's an FE guy! Maybe we can have another member!

That or see if the ODBC guys are not opposed to FE. I just know that I didn't like the attitude when I have gone over there a few times. But that's only a couple people, I imagine the group as a whole is OK.

Still, maybe we can get a few other people out to the pond like we discussed. That would be great!

                                Meniscus,
I noticed the RRR thread. I had my first get together with the Capitol RC club at their pond in Northern VA this past weekend. I'm the only FE in the club so when a few members broke out the nitro boats they had worked on all winter for club members to admire, I felt a little out of place. Those boats were sweet! So I quietly started getting my boat ready to run and one guy came over to check out my boats and chat. Then before you know it the small crowd followed. Good bunch of guys. They had allot of questions. One said he flew electric planes and wanted to try FE's but there was no one in the club to race. So I'm optimistic we will have a class or two of FE's running in the club maybe next year.

My offer still stands. If you guys join the OD club and let me know what class your going to run, I'll build a couple of boats and come down for the district race. If not and your previous invitation is still good, I'd still like to run with the Fembot's next time I'm in the area.

                                Mike
