Yep, once you get on that road in front of the school, there should be a sign out front directing you where to go! Mike

The is no race schedual Danny. When you register (check in) either Friday afternoon or Satuday morning, you will be given a heat sheet. This will tell you what heat "numbers" you will be racing in. If novice class is running heat #1. You'll be running the first heat at 8AM. We will be running four heats per class for the weekend and ususally get through about two and a half rounds on Saturdays finishing up late afternoon. We usually try to wrap things up early aftenoon on Sunday so out of towners can get home at a reasonable hour. Running only one class will give you around 3 hours between heats. So you'll have plenty of time change underwear, charge batteries, tweak your boat and make some new friends.

Make sure you bring your IMPBA card to registration guys.

Drivers meeting is at 7:30 AM on Saturday.

Looks like your all set. Being a new boat, prop conservatively for your first heat unless you know the boat can run hard for three minutes. Most novice boats are nitro Miss Vegas RTR's and last year I lapped them every heat with my Titan 33. Now my sons Mean Machine is usually one of the fastest boats out there and it only does low 40's.

Set realistic goals for yourself and don't be afraid to ask questons. I had two goals my first race. Don't take anyone out and finish the heats. Spend your first few heats learning how to do a good start, running the buoys and how to hold your lane. If someone is going to pass you, don't worry about them, just drive your boat, hold your lane and let them drive around you. Do not slow down suddenly or they will either run up your behind or wipe out trying to avoid you. Stay out of people's roostertails and don't cut people off so they end up in yours. Thats a easy way to flip a boat. If you screw up, don't sweat it. It's novice class.

People might tease us. Especially when P-mono or the shootout is on the clock and you can hear crickets chirping. 99% of it is good natured ribbing. So laugh it off.

Enough banter. Time to put my game face on. I like the crazy game face, people give you allot of room if they think your crazy!!!

See you guys tommorrow. Drive Safe

I'm hoping the Field Kit includes the battery charger, balancer, DC cord, and AC power supply.

I'm anticipating coming out Saturday late morning/afternoon and maybe Sunday morning. I wish everyone that is racing the best of luck and I applaud your efforts. If there's any last minute items that someone needs, give me a call. I have the following items I could bring with me if needed: generator (tailored), deep cycle batteries, extra boats, props, couplers, drivelines, batteries, ice, fan, etc. Just give me a call.

On another note, I received a call from a friend of a friend of a friend. He's interested in FE boats and runs both nitro and electric trucks. His name is Ryan and knows very little about boats. Watch out for him and please present him with the normal cordial attitude.
