3 Weeks Til RACEDAY!

Where has time gone? It seems we were just talking about hosting the FE Nats in Colorado and now we are only 3 weeks away from Racing in Greely.
This past Sunday we had a race and meeting in Greeley where the Nats are going to be held. A lot of stuff in in place and we are now making the final push, setting up heats, CD list and duties ect ect.. Still a lot to be done but time rolls on. At this point the only class that may not make a feild is 1/8 "Scale" Unlimited Hydroplane. If some guys are still on the fence, we will be taking some late entries, but the sooner the better if you want to make the trip to Colorado. Some racers have sent e-mails or PMs stating they are coming but we have not received those entries as of yesterday. For the folks who had asked about entering very late as they are trying to shuffle schedules and won't know till late weather they can attend or not, try to let us know once you find out if you can make the trip. Thats is still Ok Here is the current entry list. If you are not on it we have not received your entry as of yesterday. This is coming together to be a great race, Looking forward to seeing old friends and making some new ones .

Its only 2 weeks til final set up and open water, Things are really shaping up, I hope everyone is getting thier boats ready. Can't wait to see what you guys have uo your sleeves. I think the Team points is going to be pretty cool with LSH being the largest class and on the last day it may be the deal breaker. I think the team and overall points winners can be any bodys title ,if they have a little luck and well played game, These should be a blast. I have a couple of options for shipping my boats and tools.

First is the have them checkin with the airline.
But I'm not sure if they will allow me to check-in tools like screw drivers, scissors and things like that? I'm getting differing opinions when I call the airlines.

Second is I ship to the hotel, but I'm not sure how I can have the things shipped back if Fedex is closed on Saturdays. Any ideas?

Ask the race organizers if one of them would let you ship your stuff to them instead of the hotel. Also ask if anyone would be willing to have a Fedex 'pickup' at their place the following Monday.
