Steve-Though it was a very dramatic and serious situation, it was handled quickly by the right people with the right equipment. Ken's trailer is in the video that Tony took 2 days after the mishap. You can't tell anything happened, with the exception of a small section of counter top.

I will say that it served as a very good reminder that we need to be diligent in the handling, charging and storing of our batteries.

Did the fire extinguishers work? Anyone know the cause of the fire?

Yes-the ABC extinguishers worked on the flames. We were then able to get the contents outside and more safely handled.

We have an idea as to what happened, but no facts and I'm not going to dwell on the situation online, with the exception of what I stated above. We need to follow proper lipo charging procedures as outlined by the lipo manufacturers and make sure that we respect our power source.

Yes, but the question was asked here, in this thread and went unanswered. That is no way. A very important issue brought up here should be fully addressed here. One reading this thread would be left to assume one thing, possibly leading to a situation. Do you not think so?

No, I don't think so... Steven's question was clearly answered here... the other question was answered and addressed in the appropriate thread. My though is that the question should have been asked over there...

I 'm no sure why that would be a problem, but Tyler Gerrard (RaceMechaniX) took the pictures. You could persuade him to post them again.
