Sarasota FE Race - Appril 2,2023

FE racers we have a new site to hold an event. Hope you all will come out for a one-day fun day race. Pete Forcier has gotten permission from the Pleasant Lake RV Resort to hold a race at their facility. Parking, toilets, concessions and a covered area with a cement overhang on the pond to drive from.

All boats P/L, P, Q and open - Hydro, Cat, Mono, Spt Hydro - P/L and Q/L tunnels anf Jersy Skiff. depending on numbers we may combine so everyone who comes can race.

We hope to have a good turnout and make this site a couple race a year event, the local rv members fun run there on thursdays.

As usual everyone waits to enter races but that's normal. I will update classes this weekend. So far 11 drivers with P/L classes dominating. Q/L tunnel will be strong also. We will combine some classes to accomodate everyone to make a fun day. Cats and Mono's and maybe sport hydros with riggers if not enough to make 3 boats in a class,

The P/L classes are all good as is Q/L tunnel. Looking for full P's and Open boats. So evertone can run we may have to negotiate some sort of start handicap for step ups in the open class at the drivers meeting. 18 drivers and close to 50 boats so far.
