Legg Lake 5-Day Super SAW Event Wed Nov 5th-Sun Nov 9th

Legg Lake 5-Day Super SAW Event Wed Nov 5th-Sun Nov 9th

This is the official Event Thread to record each day’s results (we will list any new records and/or notable fast passes as well as associated videos and pics).

It’s not to late to join the fun; and as a reminder NAMBA cards will be checked at the event so please make sure you bring your current membership card, or you can always renew your membership on site at the event.

If you have any general questions about rules, running or equipment please access the link listed below.

    Link: http://forums.offshoreelectrics.com/...th-Sun-Nov-9th

We encourage all to come out and run or just watch and bench race. The Amigos and SoCal FE try to support any racer who travels to the event and needs some assistance.

The weather looks great as the forecast shows mid 80’s over the 5 day event.

So stay tuned for the latest breaking news

    Thanks much,

    Boyd Marshall

I was there today and ended up running some boats, water was mighty fine the whole time. Also got to meet Chris and Aaron.

All the reeds in your (thomaslambo) avatar pic have been chopped so visibility seemed great also.

      Thanks for the update.

Always been a pain trying to see over the reeds to get a good line.

Should be an event for the books

Lake looked good today...Jim Johnson and Shaughnessy were throwing a boat or 2 in.

going to be fun! See you all at 6am!

I wonder if Jay will mind if I take a peek at his boat at our Motel :-)

Sorry for the delay in posting results.

Tony or myself will make a post this evening with the official FE results so far, but here's a few teasers:

Ralf Moser blew away the T-Mono record at 108 MPH. The most beautiful passes you'll ever see a Mono hull make. I believe Tony got the most recent passes on video.

Chris Flynn broke the P Sport Hydro record, speed was 96 MPH.

Andreas Lehner broke the M2 Cat record, speed was 55 MPH.

Lot's of people knocking on the record doors so stay tuned!!

Disclaimer, please don't hold me to the exact speeds listed above, will verify today
