Spec motors in cats. Mostly Motley's and Mystics I suspect. 6 lap sprint. Same as P limited mono only it's cats. Then both can run together in offshore.
Shoot for a 452 on that Q boat Ray. Maybe a 450 if it's really heavy. If it's not a Neu remember to put a thrust bearing on there. Keeps the heat down on that rear bearing.

The 40" mono has a 5692 SSS HOR 1200kv motor. When I drove it last with a 452 for 4 minutes nothing got close to warm and there was lots left in the tank but, speed??? WE'LL SEE SOON AS i WAS UP TIL' 2AM LAST NIGHT (ooops sorry bout caps...) putting all the guts back in. Going to water test it soon maybe with Jay on the Bay in May... that sounds gay
The hull is light CF/Kevlar, Promise Hobby from way back, Got Dinogy's in there now that like lots of amps.
I just have to tune and maybe Bill F. has a hull I can borrow for P-limited mono?

as of right now we have 23 racers and 133 boats there are 8 signed up for q offshore 7 for each of the other open classes, this is going to a blast,

Q-OFF!!!! OH MY NERVES, been running mine the past few weeks against a big 10S cat..................can't touch me!!! 67mph for 4 minutes with 30% left in the batts!!! same setup for open cat except instead of a 452 im using a pitched up 457/3 with 12,000 Mah for 6 laps the boat is 82mph and handles like its on rails!!!!We call ourselves the "Q"Comment

I was as shocked as you probably are reading this but your attendance is actually a draw. Stop laughing. I had the same response when Fred said it to me. In hind sight though, I'm pretty sure it was because I'm so damned entertaining and had nothing to do with my racing.
