Nuts, the dates on this event caught me by surprise. Hope I can get registered with IMPBA in time.

Sorry Terry. Spring NATS are the same weekend. If you end up using the backup date we'll get there. Two race weekends of racing in a row? Of course. Why not?

The backup date works better for me too, Terry. I would never hope for bad weather at this event, but if it happens, I'll be there on the backup date.

We have a club race the backup weekend. I would hit the trial on Saturday and our race on Sunday.......because I'm insane.

Good luck to all who attend. If I get an opportunity I may drive out to say hi on Sunday but won't be running either way (lipos aren't here until next week...I waited too long to make up my mind). Thanks as always for staying consistent and making this event happen every year Terry!

How'd it go? Reports while we were in Atlanta made it sound like it was horrible.

As they say, if you don't like the weather in Michigan, wait ten minutes and it'll change. It actually snowed on my way home today.

We got some decent conditions Saturday late afternoon but Sunday was a blowout with a ten mph wind right at us so we packed up early.

David Preusse was ready to go when it layed down just before dark on Saturday and upped the SP20 oval by a half second to 23.543, congratulations Dave! Other than that we just did a little testing and had fun.

Next Spring we will go a little later (weekend after Mother's Day) to hopefully get better weather.

Thanks to the FAST gang Mike, Mark and Mikey for making these events happen!

Weather is always the buggaboo for SAW/oval events. I remember waiting out an LA SAW event standing in ankle-deep mud for 2-1/2 days to run for a few hours. Congrats on the new record!
