    Flint, MI - record trial - Spring event - Cancelled.

    Our contacts at the City of Flint and Genesee County have informed us that a temporary repair of the dam breach is in the works but it will be at least four to five months to complete the work. At this point we will have to cancel our Spring event but hope to be able to run in the Fall.

    One of the two gates at the dam remains open to ensure water levels in the lake remain well below the level of the breach, which has been temporarily filled with sandbags, according to Fedewa.

      Do you guys plan on finding a different site for the october trial? Incase the lake isnt filled up by then. My dad drove by that site the other day and he could walk across it without getting wet.

          Has anyone driven by this location lately? I stopped by a couple months ago and it was still looking like Bonneville salt flats. Wondered if anyone has been by since.
