Yes my flipped Lucas in Heat #2
It ran pretty well, but I set the weight back too far for that heat.
The good news was the flip placed my son in first and he won his very
first Cat heat. Thanks again to Jim Clark who gave that winning
boat to Fede right after he lost all his boats last summer.
Still Fede's favorite boat......he even has a Geico Lizard shirt now to match :)

Dave, the boat that Ty is ahead of by a half lap in Q is the current 2 lap world record holding boat. Doesn't suck to have someone build fast boats for him. haha We de-soldered a connector in the last heat and that was enough to kill his placing. The boat is crazy fast. That's the same Aztec blue paint as the limited boat. He missed a run off with Haines in limited by a single 50 point cut. Haines was running Jason's boat. Which was fast but Ty had beat him in the previous heat. The kid is fun to watch but I hate pitting for him. Scares the crap out of me at every apex.

It was actually someone Bob knows that took the videos & I talked to him on Saturday and he is working on it.

Brode had a guy too from Dilman but their video didn't turn out for whatever reason. I believe the other guy that Bob knows does video for the Gold Cup.
