Flint was fun and I have really grown to love going up there. It's nice to see some 'real numbers' to back up the hard work on boat, motors, and/or props. Although I was able to apply for a new time for P-Sport Hydro class; I left a 1-2 seconds out on the course. For my last run, I made the mistake of making a prop and CG change and the boat just didn't get through the turns quick enough. Oh well, maybe I can bring something a little better in the fall.Comment

Congrats Art Jayne and Mike Caruso. Didn't realize we had a couple electric club members that could put some amps on the water.

It's always great to meet new people and these guys were no exception for sure (Mike being the newbie at this event). For idiots like me who show up at events without a boat that's ready to run, it's great to be able to shoot the breeze and live vicariously through others!
Congrats on the 75mph patches guys, I have no doubt that you're just getting started in the SAW game!
It was also cool to watch Shawn (apophis) get his first record in P-cat. He definitely deserves it. Moderator "Diegoboy" is now going to be the only person outside of Flint to hold an IMPBA SAW cat record.
