Just got back from flying a few packs with John. My T-28 landed long and went off the side of the road. Unfortunately it nosed over in the only mud puddle on the shoulder (which happened to be 8" deep) total submerging the ESC and motor.

Luckily I had a bottle of alcohol with me (not Captain Morgan's) and flushed everything out. A little trick I learned from Mr. Smock.

I might check you guys out when you race in two weeks. Wife will be out of town so my schedule will be open for sure. I wish I could come out for RC Mania but my company is having their employee appreciation event in PA this coming Saturday so I won't be able to.

I need to do a little work on my boat before it will be race ready and I still have to tune everything up. Including repositioning and creating new battery mounts in the boat, shortening my flex shaft and adjusting the angle of my strut.

I completely stripped out my boat and have been rebuilding for the last 9 months. I just got it back from paint and now I am tuning. I would love some hands on help with some of these issues if someone is willing to help me out.

The guy that painted my boat is a local to Manassas and his business website is www.airbrushgalore.com. He specializes in motorcycles and helmets but he took on my project as a first for both rc or boats. He had the boat on display at jiffy lube live even before it was completed and just the empty shell.

He uses on house of kolor paints and does 5-7 layers of clear coat on the body.

It wasn't as bad as you might think. I paid $200 and he smoothed out the body with putty before painting. The blue paint on the Blackjacks run deep into the body so when I sanded it out it wasn't completely even.

Pro painter had quoted me $450 minimum not including shipping and no body work

ok, am going to have to re-enter EVERYTHING in the POS racecrafters program.
It took a fracken dump today and wiped out all the entries.
