Vortex has been in the states. Daggers has both the regular and mini. Mini is a SWEEET boat... and Im not a big hydro fan

Yes, 22.2mph.

I have a 2650 3S that is too long (which is what I ran it on), but a 4500 3S that fits. A 5000 may not fit in the tray, but you can let it overhang a bit and strap it down as I did w/ the 2650.

Im hoping to try both the 4500 and 5K 3S on it i the next couple days.

2200KV ON 3s OF COURSE IT IS A TAD SLOW. i WOULD HAVE DROPPED oopps, caps...
in 4S 3500mah right from the start. 2200kv is a 4s wind if the motor and esc can take it.

I mentioned the Turnigy typhoon 2215, 4000kv on 2S would be a great hop up...

Iv got a Turnigy water cooled 3600 Im thinking about w a 60A esc... or a 120 cause I have one.

the boat comes w/ no literature. Just a folded 1/2 piece of paper that says to tighten the turn fins and how to tighten the set screw to lock on the rudder. Thats about it. Seeing that all vids on DF were on 3S, and around 2200mah I think, thats what I based my set up off. Could it take more and handle it? Dunno, Havent got that far....

I dont think the esc will handle it. ??? But I dunno. I dont think I will try it. My only way to get 4S is two 2S 5000s... fit will be tight and its not worth blowing up a new boat to me. I think an esc change and motor swap may be the best bet.

Ive gotta run to the LHS tomorrow for something.. may grab a 432 and see what it does as well.

Maybe swap out the esc... Ive got a turnigy 120 layin here... then I might put 4S to it.. but thats defeating the purpose as my "no worries" reliable boat to just relax and run....

Plus, whatever I do, daggers will be me and then it will be war as to whos goes faster.. and before you know it we will have $500. more into these 23" boats and doin 70mph.... 'stock and let it be", "stock and let it be" I gotta keep tellin myself that.

I'll let ya; but mine is still stuck in customs! .... Yes, I agree. This is supposed to be a sport runner, not a racer. If anyone wants a racer, go build a bigger DF. This boat would be great to pack on any outings to the lake or pond.

We know the carbon prop hits 22 mph, so a X432 might yield a little more mph.

Actually, in all honesty, to get it to 30mph or real close would be nice... But where it is stock is calm ,fun.. no worry boating.. if there is such a thing. At 22 the hull doesnt seem like its even close to its limit.
