I wish LoL.. They don't make one in 3/8 stub, plus between you and me, some boats I run Randy makes me keep BBY stock in order not to mislead potential customers..

He couldn't stop me from rigging her up with titanium and aluminum fasteners LoL.. Don't tell him though

OOh! You're right.. That IS pretty!! My new ETTI sponson rigger will be outfitted with one..
Removable nose is a sweet feature as well, but I'll tell ya' Jeff.. I've yet to need to replace one!
I don't know WHAT they're using as far as bearings, but they last forever!

The Boca Bearings Yellow-seal bearings are indestructable as well.
They've been running flawlessly in my boats for 3-years!!!

I remove the inner seals from each bearing on the 3/16" bearings. Bearings do not get enough oil or cleaner to them any other way when sealed. Yes they are lubed from the factory but that does not last very long.

After consulting BOCA and talking some specifics with them they said my way is optimal when runnng in water. This does not reduce the load ability at all on a bearing. It does however allow easy cleaning and lube to get to the bearing and race.

The one you see in the pic needs some finishing and polishing but they are already being shipped out. The main reason for my efforts are for wire drives...they really work well for those.

I guess as hard as we try to reduce resistance this is the next best step that I can see making a difference.
