F1 powerboat: inboard vs. Outboard

Hi fellow hobbyists, yesterday I ran my Cozy F1 Tunnel 'Lucas Oil' against another Cozy F1 Tunnel 'Red Bull'.

Lucas Oil has a TFL mini outboard and Red Bull has an inboard setup. Both run on 3S and 4S with 2800-2880kV motors.

It was a lot of fun and the boats are very competitive against eachother.

It seems that Red bull looked a tiny bit faster in a straight line

They are very closely matched. The Red Bull accelerates faster, the Lucas Oil runs more free on top speed.
