DF Pirate Mono finishing 3rd in Open race on 4S!!

Here's a video of my DF Pirate mono in the BVI RC Boat club Holiday Madness race. I was running 4S 2p parallel on a 2200kv motor 180a esc and a x447/2 prop. I was quite surprised how well the boat handled and competed being so small against the "big boats!" Let me know your thoughts.

Thanks man!!! It was good too race too!!! My borders have been closed since March so we've been stuck with each other in the BVI since then lol. The best thing that came out of it was new boaters coming to the sport. But yeah F Covid!!! :)

Awesome, great run. You hung with the gassers nicely. I used to run my DF 35 with a few of them but I never got it to handle it as well as yours is

I used to do that with a Pursuit. Typically the gassers will try and cut you off and cheat to win Good stuff.

Great video, David! I enjoyed watching several others of yours. I wish there was some racing near me. I got into these things a few months ago and there isn’t much in Southern California.
