    That hull has always been a good runner.
    What setup did you put in it?

      2030 AQ motor...Turnigy 120 ESC, some old 2S packs in series and a plastic prop from the UL-1.

      Using an old beatup SV 27 stinger, some rudder and fins I had laying around....no trim tabs...doesn't seem to need them!

      Gotta love it when they run that well 1st time out.

      Its definitely earned a new paint job and some checkers now!

        Something that I have been thinking about;
        Knowing how well that hull always ran,
        I am thinking about extending the strakes two and a half inches on my new DF 29"
        Two and a half inches is the length that I removed from the rear of that hull.

          Is it actually a df27 or a TFL hull?

          Used to have one of those.

            That is the DF 29" hull that I cut 2 1/2" out of, to make it 26 7/8" long to get a wider stance for N2

              Ok, thought that deal died. Good to see it running and running well in good hands.

              Steve and I are still waiting for a df shipment. Hurry up Samuel !

                The deal did die...then it resurrected itself another time and here we have it! On the water again. Very happy with the way it runs...

                  That would be an interesting experiment.

                          I would never have guessed a checkered paint job.
