    115MPH Fantasm

This is the third year running this FighterCat Fantasm. I made some real good gains last season with it, a lot of tweaks and mods to get small gains till they added up to good numbers. It wasn't all easy. Last season ended with a blip on the logger of 115mph at the club lake. This seasons first run was 116 but it took almost nothing to blow it off the water. So I dialed a touch of negative into the stingers and WALA!!!! 115.9MPH and solid.

MANY THANKS TO CHRIS HOFFMAN whom has prepared my props for me on this one.

I am not sure what is next for this one but it just may be all up to you Chris

    Thanks guys, Shawn

My stuff is on the way. Seems like I've been getting lucky lately and not even trying to go fast, my little tiny version of this boat accidentally went 92mph. Made me pucker up for sure. Although it was very stable, I wasn't brave enough to run it again. Still blows my mind that it did that on 4s with a single motor. I think I won't be as nervous with the fantasm. I've found myself making one or two fast passes and then not even trying to go faster but instead putting the boat on the shelf. Like my shocker and my Rivercat. Both went 98 and I haven't run them since. I've got the props to go up a little but I'm just scared. I have figured out a few things with this small cat to make the boats more stable so I'm going to employ what I've learned on it to the larger boats. If that 27" cat can do 92 there's no reason the 32" version can't top that by 10mph. Here's the size difference with the 27 on the left. I might as well sell the 27" because I just don't have the courage to run it that fast again.

                Very impressive indeed.

Thanks Paul and Gill. I have been working on this one for some time now. Travis has these cats down to a fine art in single form.
They really are a good design and just require some care and time to get to stay together, and a bit more for 100+ crashes.
