    Fastest cheetah?

What's the fastest cheetah you guys have seen? My buddy I built this boat for wanted to know if there's one out there faster than his. He wanted to see some video proof. There was one video he sent me of a guy claiming 72mph but there was no gps shown as any proof.

Thats definitely some sick rudder response. Mine probably would have flipped.

Cheetahs are harder to get to 100 I'm assuming ?

i think 100 is out of the question for a cheetah. tou woukd have to weigjt down the boat 3 more lbs and run a 1530 Neu with 1800kv or something on 8s. hull is too wide to get past 90mph. but who knows. some great builder may get one to 80 one day.

This particular hull is very wide and packs a lot of air in the tunnel making it prone to blow overs at high speeds. They are suited for turning and handling well. He had me build this boat with really no speed goal in mind. Just wanted a nice running and handling boat. It originally had a neu 1521 in it. Then the speed bug hit him. He called me up one day and said he wanted to go faster. I said ok but I'm not sure we can get this hull to even get past 70 or even get to 70. I had one a long time ago and the fastest I could get was 62 and it would take flight often. I will admit since then I've learned a few things. So after me resetting up the boat and making some changes (lehner motor, sf300, ball bearing strut and drive tube, adding some weight and more foam, nodding the rudder and finding the prop the hull likes) here we are today. He actually broke well into the 80's today.....and I've got a couple more tricks for him up my sleeve.....can't just put it on full kill all at once until I know the boat is stable enough. It's got a little more in it.
