      Hi everyone,
Today i did some bench tests on the motors. i tried to run the motor on 4 s... in my bath tub. i only did +/- 10 x 45 second bursts. the motors are still alive and ready to go. So....... tomorrow, i'll take the testing to the river and see what i can get out of those anonymous motors!!! But also, i will receive my new motors for this boat:http://www.hobbyking.com/hobbyking/s..._Inrunner.html And also my new upgrade, OSE flex shaft, should be here by the end of the week!

      i will post video tomorrow!

Hi everyone! I went to the river today, to test 4s on the stock motors. They preformed pretty well! after a 6:00 total run, temps were 86.4 F +/- on both motors. The warmest element was the battery connectors at 105 F.

Here Some part of my run:https://youtu.be/JIrxeNEYqlw

Aslo, this was in front of my door:IMG_20150722_171512.jpg Now i only need the flexs and collets to get in!

77.7mph, eh? Since you already have replacement motors, have Dasboata sharpen & balance a set of those new ABC props for you & try to melt those stock motors so we'll all know their limit.

I'm not sure i can "melt" those motor on 4s. Temps are too low to burn anything. And i think it would be faster with 1.4 pitch props! I was thinking of x438/3 or x440/2.

Swinging too much of an aggressive prop will burn them up even on 3s. But the new ABC prop's are giving guys a few extra mph while lowering the amp draw. So they're actually unloading the motor.

              1515-17-45 38.1mm
              1615-17-45 40.6mm
              1715-17-45 43.8mm
              1815-17-45 45.7mm
              1915-17-45 48.2mm

              1.5 pitch, two-blades... http://www.offshoreelectrics.com/pro...7-45%282%29CLR

But I would order them from Chris (dasboata), sharpened & balanced.

Those looks good! But i don't know the difference between chopper and cleaver, so it is kind of hard to know what to get.

Actually, i rechecked my convertion table, and the real speed is 55.6 mph... sorry for this mistake. But i think i can get to 77 in no time!

The speed in your last video looks like 50's. I didn't want to be jerk & say that, plus it can be hard to translate speed from video sometimes. You should be faster with your upgrades & the right props. One bad landing at 70mph, these hulls will be toast without a lot of reinforcement. I saw you were adding more fiberglass, but some two-part foam in the front half, at least, might save it from a total loss.

I don't know how i could translate 89 kph in 77 mph... Maybe i was dreaming awake!

                        Hi everyone!

I went to the lake today. I mounted the turnigy 28-60 2730 kv motors and i put my X440/3 on it! Things are looking good no real heat issue. The temps were in the mid 90 for the ESCs, and low 100 for the motors and batts.https://youtu.be/iXagbjMsuGQhttps://youtu.be/MzWqrV9x1cc I will try to lower the struts about .5° for the next run, maybe i'll get a few more mph!

Don't worry about it...one member picking on another.

Your boat seems to be really nice and stable at the speeds you are running.
