KBB45 94.7 mph

I made a couple passes with 8s/4000mah per side today, first run was actually 96.0 mph, but the camera wasn't recording, so I sent it back out on the same packs for 94.7 mph, at no time did it even feel sketchy either... I have a couple things to sort out, but It's really only the third time it's been in the water.
-Is it normal to see the torque roll effect on initial takeoff with a twin? The motors start at the same time out of the water, not sure what's up...
-I'm also seeing about 15-20 amps more from one side(left), and I'm pretty sure it was the same side both times, which is odd because that side also showed a higher rpm....
-I have a slight spot of wear developing on one flex, it is the side that didn't glue up perfectly true, and the spot does not go all the way around the flex, so hopefully that will be resolve with a replacement. This is also the side with higher amp/rpm......

The boat looks solid, 94 is flying. Did the flex help with the amp draw on the 1 side. My cat does the same thing on take off, once the props get hooked up the boat jumps on top and levels off.

What helped was extending the teflon farther into the drive, along with a new flex. No wear yet, and she's running consistent 104mph now with some other props and tuning.

Kevin: How far into the stinger are you letting the teflon go anyway?

I have a new pair of OSE 3/16 stingers (the ones on the site w/ stabilizer mounts) and I'm kind of wondering if I should make the teflon long enough to go an inch or 2 into the shaft... or is it going to get in the way of the up/down trim adjustment.

I went as far in as I could until it was almost butting up against the shaft(about 26mm), but I think my drives that run on bearings are very different than what you have, so I'm not sure what would work there, you probably have to feel it out.

Have you ever tested and compared running stingers with and without bearings before? Any sort of noticeable performance gains?

I picked up a couple of yellow seal Boca bearings for my new stingers... hoping it'll actually help in terms of performance :)

It has twin Lehner 2250's, there is a build thread on here.

This is the first twin I have ever built, run, or even seen in person, as I don't really run with anybody else, so I cannot compare to stingers with bushings, but I would venture to guess there is probably a noticeable difference when you get up into the higher rpm setups, especially with vibration.
