    2S scratch cat 24"

    My latest creation:

I used Lonewolf's design and had my way with it. In Canvas drafting program, I added an 25% to the tunnel width, 30% to the tunnel height and the slanted sides, made the deck flatter to make it easier to build and filled most of the thing with US composite foam.

I used that lightweight carbon paper to stiffen the tunnel, 1/8 balsa bulkheads and 1/16th inch ply on all skin. Sealed her up with epoxy and used Duplicor automotive paints. Found decals on the web.

She is 24" long by 11" wide... no ride pads yet and you may notice she kinda banks in the turns.
here's the video of windy day (10+mph) and good rollers at Jims place.

If there's interest I can start a build thread and share the plans for free.
    Here it is:http://forums.offshoreelectrics.com/...-shocker-plans

I would love to see how you built it!
    What's your powerplant?

BTW, COOL video... I like the slow motion action, makes it look very scale!
    This is NOT a toy?!?

Do you have the step by step from start to finish.
Photos of just about all of the process?

Post the build in the "Boat building talk" section. I guess that the other sections will get opened up soon. There will be heaps already to transfer there. That little kitty runs pretty well in the rough water, nice job. Please share the plans. Hey there should be a section for plans!

Ya I took photos from the first to the last.
OK, I'll gather them up and work on it soon. Glad to see the interest in scratch builds!

Well done, the boat looks great, as does the video.

It is about all I am interested in, I couldn't care less about Genisis "build" #3124, Pursuit "build" #1001, or even HPR "build" #20 (unless it is by HansPeter himself showing us how he actually builds them, or by Chris "the file" demonstrating his outstanding workmanship).

Start the build in the boat building talk and then maybe we can move it to the other section if it meets all the criteria.
