    12s Fantasm running 447/3 props

I have noticed the vid section a tad slow as of late. Don't know what happened to Travis, must be busy or something .

So it took me a bit of tweaking but I got her running good on the 447's from PropShop that Chris(Dasboata) tuned up for me. They have a lot less lift than some of the other props I was running. I'll get back to those. So the setup is TP 4050 1020kv D wynds on 12s, Etti 220HV controllers, Dinogy 3300mah batteries. All this runs thru 3/16" cable and 'Clicks". Much has changed on this boat since I built it a year ago.

Man I'm here. Just been busy and it's been raining and cold. I did have a choice last weekend if I was going to run the daytona or the rivercat. I only had time to run one. Since the daytona did like 38mph because of problems, I felt I have to give it a chance to redeem itself. Besides, the water was a little too rough mid day to make some 100mph passes with the rivercat. Heck I flipped the daytona at 60. It was way off tho so it's my fault. Good news Is I have 4 running boats now instead of just one or two. Now the shocker is on my work bench along with a lehner powered rivercat I'm getting ready to start assembling. O and the shocker is getting a 2260 lehner. Should be here in a few weeks. Trying to figure out hardware....I want different and not chea stuff. It's supposed to be nice this weekend so I may go run the rivercat if it's not windy. If I do I'll post videos.

And in yours....Wow that thing is moving! You GPS it? You probably passed me up now...sometimes it just takes a while to line things out and looks like youve done a good job! I had to buy some 2s packs so I can tone this thing down (rivercat) to get it fine tuned in because trying to tweak it as fast as it is results in acrobatics if I'm not careful. Acrobatics at 90+ is not good so I'm gonna tone it down to about 60 or whatever it ends up at on 4s or 5s. And tweak it till I get the highest speed. Then go back up in power and pray it stays on the water. Lol.

I was just pokin' ya Travis
Rain and cold has certainly dampened my runs, lol. Glad I'm not the only one. I don't know how many trips to the lake I have done just to put the packs back on storage due to the wind.
The ET GPS said 83.3 that day so I tweaked it a bit more and got 85 and a blow over. She is fine though. Good, tough boat. I will be trying my ABC's next.

I know! I don't mind it...gives me motivation! I'm pouting epoxy in the shocker right now as a matter of fact....trying to get stuff done. I took the rivercat out a few weekends ago ant it only did 89. A cooling line popped off (I forgot the wire tie on it lol) and when i brought it in after the pass (that sounded like it was struggling! ) I noticed it was sitting very low in the water like it was starting to sink. Lol. That's what I found. ..a bunch of water in the hull. Good thing everything is water proof. It was way off that day. Strut was angled down and it was running so wet I'm surprised it didn't torpedo.

Yup, and 10mins away from the bat cave. Unfortunately it is busy as all get out in the summer with water sports so pretty much off limits. I can sometimes get real early morning runs in but then our lake is only 20mins from here.

No worries, I will Joel. I have a few props to try, then tweak a bit.

So I tried my ABC 2016's that Chris had worked on. I did not change anything from the setup that the 447's seemed to like. The increased rake lifts the bow a bit more and, well... Y'know.

I got it back in and there was minimal water inside (none of it was anywhere near electronics) so I got that out and decided to 'up the anty with the 4717/3's. Stable as can be.

BTW I am pretty sure my water was getting in thru one of the bellows because I saw air bubbles coming from that location. One of them got stuck by a pushrod on assembly and I never bothered to replace it. Guess I better now.

So tell me what you think compared to the 447's. I'll see what the logger got for #'s. I know the Power Panel said 98mph after the flip, lol
