Rampage gas mono with CC racing Pro Mod motor

Here is a video of my Gas Mono.
    It's a Rampage Mono hull.
This was the second time I had been out running the boat.
It wasn't setup right but was still a blast to drive.
Even with it setup wrong the boat still screams and handles anything.

Thanks Jesse J for coming out to the club day and making this cool video. Be sure to watch at 3:00 mark my favorite part!

Nice Jeff, there is something about gas boats that no electric can compete. That 3:00 mark IS FUN to watch, I backed it up a few times. Love the slow motion too!
Too many boats, not enough time...

I agree its the noise the smell and many other things, I enjoy both GAS and FE equally.
This boat has loads of power and since I have had it out a few more times and got it closer to being fully dialed.
It's fast as heck and only getting faster each time I have it out.

The wheelie was fun but didn't want it to blow over, I wonder how long I could have kept it down the front straight had I not let off as much!

We can certainly walk that fine line as close as possible!
Control vs Speed I am still trying to figure out a good combo on some of my boats!

This boat loves the speed and getting closer to smoother control...LOL

There is always time to tighten them up. To be so loose it didn't look like it had any bad habits.
I have a 44" Seaducer fun runner that is on the ragged edge like that and have no intentions of changing a thing. LOL

It did have bad habits but can't see them to bad in the video, the setup was entirely wrong but didn't matter to much.
It was leaning a bit to one side and the prop was hoping out of the water in the turns a bit and causing a bit of hopping.

After running it in this video I checked my strut and found out it was way to high and lowered it and adjusted trim tabs better.
Now it is loose and controlled on the ragged edge but takes the waves and bumps with ease.
Controlled chaos, I will have to get a new video of it next season/time out with it if possible.
