Glad you finally got to run her.......you like?

        Few observations:

You crack me up when you put her in like you were placing baby Moses in the Nile........careful, careful!! Most of us walk up near the edge, dont stoop and throw her in..............

The prop is not getting it up on plane very well and then loses bite in the corners, need a bit bigger, maybe try and x442 with more surface area than the super detoungued, stock prop has

Try to make large oval type passes, you also dont need to let off of the throttle when turning, it will corner like on rails

Cant wait to see the 2400kv!

Thanks for the tips man! Yes, it is so stable and predictable, i love it already!

And let me comment on your observations!!!lol!

''You crack me up when you put her in like you were placing baby Moses in the Nile........careful, careful!! Most of us walk up near the edge, dont stoop and throw her in..............''
Yes, i'am carefull... after all it is my real first big boat, and where i put it in, there is only 7'' of water... so i didn't want to hit the bottom!!!

''The prop is not getting it up on plane very well and then loses bite in the corners, need a bit bigger, maybe try and x442 with more surface area than the super detoungued, stock prop has''
          I think i will try the stock Rio prop, it's a 42mm... And also i'll order a x442.

''...you also dont need to let off of the throttle when turning, it will corner like on rails''
I still have this habit frow the Rio, at full throttle, the Rio Always wanted to spin around! I Will get more confident in my skills as i'm driving it, i hope! But yes, i've noticed that it is really good with sharp turns!

''Cant wait to see the 2400kv!''
I just found out that i will need a 5mm motor shaft for ma 2400kv, it has a 3.5mm shaft... so i will need to order one!

Cheer and thanks again for the tips!

After spending all day on the search for the 5mm shaft for my 2400kv motor, i found nothing. So i'm thinking about a 1515-1y 2200kv. i think it would be a good compromise, as i would be able to run 6s, and still have good speed on 4s. What are your toughts about it?

You better have a stout driveline if you are gonna run 6s with a 1515 2200kv. Its really not necessary, just go 4s and prop that baby up! Need enough ESC to do it though, T180 etc, SF200 etc....................

I ran my 2200 Pursuit on 5s once to see what she could do, turned out well, hauled Butt.

I think i will just follow your advice, i'm gonna get the x442 prop and i will run the 1620kv until it dies, on 4s & 6s(don't have 5s for now).

Will the x442 prop will fit the stock prop shaft? I'm talking about the lenght of the sleeve that holds the blades...

Not sure what the dimensions of your propshaft is but i just measured an x442 and the hub is 13mm at greatest length

Cool, it will fit! The Rio stockprops are +/- 15mm long, and don't fit the distance between the drivedog and prop nut!
                        Thanks!

Hi, I also have a stock HK Pursuit that I am running a Seaking 180 and on 6s with 2 x 4000 mAh 60C 3S batteries in series. It is fast. I do worry about that motor on 6S but the temps on the motor and ESC has been around 95F after a full run, although I don't know how long that motor can keep it up, but so far it's been handling it great.

A 1515, T180 on 4s will give you you plenty of speed and you could run up to a x445 easy. Just learn to run, check temps etc a little at a time until you find the best setup.

Yep, that is probably the best setup for this boat, same basic setup i run(i upped to a 4082 though) and i'm getting low-mid 50's. The 4074 i ran was nudging 50.
