Impulse 31 V2 now with Leopard 4074-1400kv motor

Here's my Impulse 31 V2 running on both 4S and 6S after finally finding a calm day!

The extra weight of the 4074 along with the Rx pack really changed the balance of the boat compared to the stock setup, so I had to do some tweaking while running on 4S.

4S with a VXP V445 CNC Aluminium prop

Haven't tried the X440/3 on 6S yet.

Average current draw at full speed is around 100amps. Temps were good on both the ESC and Motor so might step up to an M545 or S220.

4S with a Kintec Racing X440/3 CNC Aluminium prop, speed is about the same to my eye at least, but the sound is much quieter and high-pitched

Moving the batts forward helped with the porpoising, a little.

And lastly, 6S with the V445

Had to move the batts forward AND turn the trim tabs down to achieve anything close to stability. Even then it loves to spontaneously flip

Next step is experimenting with raising the strut and trying to move the CG back.
