Yes it was running well, topping out in the low 60s. Too bad my driving sucked!

so how deep is the lake where the boat went down? also did it get rescued or still on the bottom?

Ron, I've heard it's deep and there's lots of stuff down there. Also, it's fed by a river so there's no telling what's in there.

The boat is still down there even after lots of dragging the bottom. Not only is the lake pretty deep but it has a slow circular current which will move any boat not firmly grounded on the bottom. Even knowing exactly where the boat went down does not guarantee it will be near there an hour later. Lots of boats have been lost there, few are ever recovered.
