1/8 Scale Hydro Race From The Air.

Chris, a new club member, took a video of us with his Quad flying, flying FPV.
The first few minutes were setting the GPS & hover controls & practice etc. Boats go in the water at about 4.30min.

But you also get a good view of our new pit area, the main Car Race track, & the Go Cart track. As well as the new little off road R/C car track at about 8.50 min.
    Great fun. Thanks Chris.
    Paul.

It's a great facility for sure.
It's located in Pine Rivers, about 30km north of Brisbane.
Here's a bit of history for ya.

Great place! Watching this clip reminded me of an old movie " ON THE BEACH" , a 1959 film that stared Gregory Peck, Fred Astaire and Ava Gardner. There was a scene in the movie when Fred Astaire raced a Ferrari on a track just like this one. Ha ha, I am drifting away, in the story it was supposed to be the Australian Grand Prix.... And the movie preceeded the building of this track....
          Enjoyed watching this clip!
Too many boats, not enough time...
