I'm uploading videos at the moment but could not wait to post! This is basically my first full build for someone. His goal was 70mph. First time in the water....took off....steering was reversed. Duh! I wasn't letting that stop me tho, I was too excited (I didn't know how to reverse the steering on the radio at that moment in time lol) so I made a pass....yea...nor a good idea. Almost flipped it. She came back in safe. Since I feel like the best way to be is truthful and upfront....she did 62.2mph when I brought it in. Not bad but not what I was looking for. So after surfing the web. Stressing out. Trying to program the radio to reverse the steering....I'm texting the owner. (The radio is a traxxas tqi with iPhone dock and telemetry) he tells me I can do it from the iphone....neat! So easy! So back in the water she goes. M545 prop...6s, tp 4060 1877kv, seaking 180 v3...in case your wondering. Brought her back in...70.9mph! Made my goal..piece of cake. Now it's time to throw the major prop on....77.0mph! Woohoo I was excited. Then I noticed temps were climbing via the iPhone telemetry. Got over 140f....not where I'd like it. So I noticed right off it wasn't shooting water out the outlet. At first I thought maybe I gotta go faster Anni just can't see it. Nope, had a hidden pinch in one of the lines upon further inspection. Once fixed I think I saw s max of 111. Made a few more passes and drove it around a while to be sure it was all good. Not bad! I'm impressed! Videos soon!

Here's the first video..my son cut the video because he was in a hurry to leave. We were going do some speed runs with his buggy afterwards so he was being impatient. ...

Yea...I set his boat up exactly like mine...they are about even in speed. I did 76mph last time with the 1518 motor on 6s. I didn't try the 1521 on 6s again yet but I will be this coming weekend. The motor swap picked me up I think 4mph and modded rudder picked me up another 1mph. So my estimate would be about 80 now on 6s. I'm going to sharpen his rudder like mine and his should be past 78mph. For some reason I'm not charging extra to do these little things but he's a cool cat so I don't mind. He's gonna love this thing and that's what matters!32" carbon rivercat single 4s 102mph, 27” mini Rivercat 92mph, kbb34 91mph, jessej micro cat(too fast) wasComment

Here's the 77mph pass. He cut the video off because this is where I noticed it starting to run warm on the esc. So I was tooling around trying to see if the outlet was spitting water. It wasn't. Quick rerouting of a hose and then threw it back in after this showed a huge reduction in temps and saw the outlet spitting water our like it should. Good!
