Nice place to run and good to see you running your boat instead of just the truck. MOst batteries brand new run well but, time is the test really so we'll see how they last.
The prop is aluminum and at your rpm's it's no surprise that you threw a blade and yes that would cause a flip. You will find that Beryllium Copper and Stainless will not have as much problem as Aluminum. Now the hard work begins, working stronger props to get the most out of your setup.

If you want someone to work props for you I suggest DASBOATA in the forum as he does great work. If you are interested in a pair of Octura L&R x442's D/T'd and slightly cupped I have a pair I could maybe part with. You will find Dasboata can do L&R props in berCopper for about the same price as the CNC aluminum ones as VXB's are quite pricey.

I allways grind a spot on the shaft for the set screw then pack the set screw hole with JB weld then tighten as tight as I can holding . It will push the weld threw the drive dog so wipe that off. Then put your prop on and tighten your shaft nut as tight as you can holding the prop with leather gloves, us blue lock tight . Don't use for 24 hours and you will never loose a prop. Very nice boat !
